The Westin Resort & Spa, Los Cabos Mexico - OLE!

Picture
Our trip "South of the Border Down Mexico Way" was thrilling!  The Hotel was unique in many different ways, including its incredible design.  Seemingly carved out of a mountain, this monumental modern Mexican resort includes terraced gardens and an infinity pool  with a swim-up bar and spa tub.
Our rooms had fabulous balconies overlooking the ocean and the infinity pool, and included an outside private spa tub. (

It was also incredibly hot!  Although the Francioni family played golf, most of us choose the spa and time around the pool for our weekend retreat.

We did venture into the town of Los Cabos for a little shopping, a boat trip and possible snorkeling.  However, a small dip in the water and we decided to stay on the boat.

What pictures don't show, are all of the pelicans and birds nesting and living on the rocks, making a dip in the water less than desirable in some places.

Some of the more adventurous (Bulleits and Jacksons) stayed in town for lunch and Margaritas.

Gala Dinner

Our Gala dinner was on the Westin property.  The hotel set up a dinner at an isolated point overlooking the ocean, in a little grass hut with torches to provide light,  musicians  to provide, well music and telescopes to view the incredible stars.
