"Some stars behave as if it's better to burn out than to fade away."
In group dynamics, each individual plays a distinctive role. Alberto Francioni was our Supernova and our financial rock star.
Alberto's exuberance for life, desire for the finest and insatiable ability to make friends around the globe, made times spent with him memorable for all. Alberto lost his life on June 24, 2012 in a driving accident in France.
At the time of his death Alberto was Partner and Global Head of Sales at BlueBay, an asset management company where he was one of the founding principals and the architect of its global distribution business.
When not making money, Alberto loved traveling the world and seeking out the rarest and the best where ever he went. He loved racing his vintage cars, drinking fine wines, smoking great cigars and playing golf on the world's best courses.
And most importantly he loved his friends and family.
